"You have shown the world what community banking is, and what it means. You have devoted yourselves to the continued success of your communities amid unprecedented challenges." Rebeca Romero Rainey, ICBA President and CEO
Enjoy a look back at what Flagship Bank was able to accomplish amidst all of the challenges of 2020.
We ended 2019 celebrating our Eden Prairie Community at the annual Holiday luncheon hosted by the Eden Prairie Community Foundation. Every year we gather to show our appreciation to the nonprofits, civil leaders and impactful community members for the work they do in the community. We had no idea what was ahead.
When everything shut down in March we had to be there for our small businesses more than ever. We worked late into the evenings and weekends to make sure we could provide financial relief with the PPP loans. We went above and beyond to ensure every application we received was processed (over 300), not a single one missed. In doing this we helped ensure over 4,200 jobs were saved. Speaking of jobs, Flagship hired more staff to be able to serve our communities and kept ourselves available through everything while keeping our employees and customers safe.
While many of our beloved events were cancelled due to COVID, we were still able to participate in some of our favorite events virtually. Another bright spot in this year was that some of the members of our own community were recognized for their accomplishments in the banking industry.
There were a lot of ups and downs for sure, but through it all we never lost focus on what we are here to do. Be there for you Minnesota. Here's to a better 2021, no matter what we have your back.
