Dr. Michael Rees and his wife Rosalie know all about being busy. That's why when they opened Maverick Chiropractic in July of 2019, they wanted to create an experience that would allow clients to be in and out in "15 minutes". They use the scheduling app SKED to make the whole appointment process very streamline. The only thing you will find at the front desk is an IPad ready to take your information and check you in. Sometimes Dr. Michael himself will be there to greet you, and you can always count on seeing their adorable golden retriever Harvey. From there, you will go into one of the adjustment rooms, and your client profile will be uploaded. You get your adjustment and you are on your way!
After completing his residency in New York, Dr. Michael (originally from Bemidji) and his wife, both Minnesota natives, decided they wanted to open their business in Wayzata. Rosalie is from Orono and always loved the area. They love being part of this community. You can find them at various events throughout the year including James J Hill Days and the Wayzata Art Experience. They also sponsor various local sports events like the Wayzata Mite Canucks hockey team as well as host Community meet ups like their most recent "Men's Night" where they partnered with a neighboring business Paint Nail Bar. Refreshments, snacks and men's manis and pedis were offered along with giveaways. Being part of their community is very important. Sound familiar?
When I met with Dr. Michael I asked what brought him to Security Bank? His answer was simply “Jackie”. He said he had looked at five other Banks and our “flexibility”, “communication”, and “streamline process” won him over. He said working with Jackie was easy and efficient, and her response time was amazing. He also appreciated her friendliness and transparency. A "Maverick" by definition is a person who shows independence of thought and action, especially by refusing to adhere to the policies of a group to which he or she belongs. That is exactly what Dr. Michael is doing, by educating his practice members on what true health is so that they can be a Maverick in their own health decisions. His approach to both his practice and his business go against the grain in many ways. They have their own way of "helping your body do the work".
