President/CEO Andy Schornack was recently featured in an interview in Independent Banker magazine.
Schornack was interviewed for a feature called “With Interest…How Flagship Bank Minnesota’s Andy Schornack rose from intern to president and CEO in the turmoil of the Great Recession"
He talked about his experience going through the recession but also the leadership and employee engagement goals he has for Flagship Bank Minnesota. He also expanded on how he views good customer service:
“I think it starts with doing the right thing…If the customer has a question about what they should be doing or shouldn’t be doing, it’s doing what’s right for the customer.” he said in the interview.
Schornack also indicated the new slogan of Investing in you is not solely focused on customers but also on the bank’s employees. Employees that feel taken care of will be more apt to take care of the bank’s customers by doing the right thing.
